Ponca Pines Academy was specifically created for young women ages 17-19. We provide individually tailored academic plans and therapeutic interventions that offer our students the best opportunity to prepare and practice for a successful transition into adulthood. |

| Ponca Pines Academy is a program of Uta Halee Girls Village, a nonprofit organization established in 1950 to serve at-risk young women and their families. Accredited in 1976 by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO); licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Child Caring Agency and Mental Health Center; approved by the Nebraska Department of Education. Ponca Pines Academy is a member of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP). |

| Ponca Pines Academy is focused on helping young women ages 17 and 18 achieve their academic goals through a college preparatory academic curriculum. We partner with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s respected Independent Study High School Program, which offers a broad area of study. |

| Following completion of the Ponca Pines Academy treatment program, students who choose to stay in the Omaha area may take part in an Independent Living Program, which includes participation in higher education or vocational opportunities while living in an independent setting in the Omaha area. Ponca Pines Academy will continue to provide ongoing academic mentoring and therapeutic support services to students enrolled in this program. |

| Family members are encouraged to be involved in all areas of their daughter’s treatment, as well as parent workshops and educational seminars. |
